Thanks for signing up to this short e-course on social media marketing.  Over the coming days I'm going to be sending you a LOT of information; be sure to check your inbox every day and to mark my messages as “important”.  It's also a good idea to set some time aside each day to read my messages and act on the information they contain.

Why social media marketing?

The simple reason is: That's where your customers are.  According to Global Web Index, digital consumers spent an average of 2 hours and 22 minutes per day on social networks and messaging apps.  That compares to a daily average of about 1 hour and 37 minutes of watching traditional TV during Q1 2020 (according to Nielsen's most recent report) and 40 minutes reading printed newspapers and magazines (according to Press Gazette).

It makes sense, therefore, to develop a social media strategy that is going to get your business and the products or services you sell in front of as many eyeballs as possible.  Over the coming days I'll be giving you some pointers that will enable you to do just that.
